Sooner state receiver taking trips

The No. 14 overall prospect in the state of Oklahoma, wide receiver Kenny Brown may not be the most well-known pass-catcher in the region but his offer list is starting to change that reputation.
Sitting on four offers presently, with the latest coming from Kansas State and Baylor just weeks ago, the 6-foot-3, 185-pound speedster is finally receiving the attention that his talents deserve. In fact, another offer Brown will be checking on within the next few days.

"I haven't found out about the Oklahoma State offer yet," Brown said. "I'm supposed to call up there here in a couple of days."
Brown says that there is no favorite school at the current time. However, he does have some visits planned for next month.
"I'm planning on visiting Texas A&M and Kansas State in the middle of July," Brown said. "Basically I want to check out the facilities and the academic centers. The most important thing is coaches, players, and playing time."
A hefty workout schedule this summer is also keeping him busy. It's all pointing to a big effort in trying to make a run at the championship this year.
"We start at 6:30 in the morning, four days a week," he said. "We do our agility drills and then it's on to lifting. It's been pretty busy lately."
