Somerville back on the market

Pflugerville (Texas) Hendrickson 2016 cornerback Keshawn Somerville committed to Baylor in early-June shortly after receiving an offer from the Bears.
The Bears were the first to extend an offer. After his commitment to Baylor he received offers from TCU and Texas State. Interest has come from Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

Somerville has taken notice of the attention and on Sunday he decided he needed to re-open his recruiting process.
I would like to thank Baylor but at this time I would like to open up my recruitment and no longer be committed to Baylor.- Ke Shawn Somerville (@Dread_Head512) November 2, 2014
It was not an easy decision to make but after careful consideration he decided it was the right decision.
"I thought I made a great decision and I felt like re-opening it and giving more colleges the opportunity to come in and more opportunities for me to pick the right school," Somerville said.
Several college programs have kept in touch and are keeping an eye on the current situation.
"I've been hearing from TCU a lot," Somerville said. "I've been talking to Mizzou a little bit lately. I've been talking to Mississippi State. I've been getting a lot of letters from Arkansas, Texas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Utah State."
He is not quite sure when he would like to make another decision, but he does have one school standing out among the rest right now.
"Right now I'm liking TCU and I think they are at the top," Somerville said. "I can't really say for the second or third one right now. I just know TCU is on the top right now."
Somerville has had a few opportunities to check out the TCU program. He has been in attendance at two TCU games during the 2014 season with his most recent trip to Fort Worth for the Horned Frogs' match-up with Texas Tech. He did not leave disappointed.
"I just like the program," Somerville said. "They're real big on defense. Coach P really shows his defense a lot of love and the whole staff they're like a home and a family. They've been showing a lot of love. I really appreciate that and TCU has been doing a great job this year with their program and I really like how they're winning as a team."
Somerville may visit TCU Saturday as the Kansas State Wildcats come to town. He has also received invitations to attend games at Houston, Texas, and Arkansas. He is currently ranked No. 28 among the nation's 2016 cornerbacks and No. 44 in the Rivals.com Texas Initial Top 75 for 2016.
