LOS ANGELES - Ralen Goforth is not narrowing down his list or naming any favorites but there are some schools that are showing a lot of attention - and the four-star linebacker is taking notice.

“I’m loving the love that TCU, USC and Washington are showing me on a consistent basis,” Goforth said at the recent Premium Showcase.

A trip to see the Horned Frogs could happen in the spring for the Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco standout.

“I like their work ethic and the way their defense plays,” Goforth said.

“They play aggressive and they play for each other. Their motto is ‘eyes up, keep climbing,’ and I see that week-in and week-out during the season. I just love the coaching staff. They’ve been showing me love on a consistent basis and I’m really looking to take a visit up there in April.”

The two Pac-12 powerhouses will also be seriously considered as Goforth’s recruitment ramps up even more this offseason.

“USC, of course, it’s always the family vibe with them from coach (Clay) Helton all the way down to the player personnel coach,” Goforth said. “They show me love every time I go up there.

“Washington shows me love all the time. Coach (Chris Petersen) is hitting me up every now and then and checking in on me. Coach (Bob) Gregory is great, too.”

Goforth’s brother, Randall, played at UCLA and the Bruins have already offered the four-star linebacker. Auburn has been showing new interest.
