Solomon could be close

Anu Solomon has gotten to the point in his recruitment where he's narrowed his list to a select group of favorites and the four-star quarterback from Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman could be close to a decision.
A commitment could happen by the summer.

"Everything has just been quiet," Solomon said. "What I'm thinking is I'm going to narrow down my list and I'm going to make a decision sooner or later.
"I have Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA, Utah and UNLV. Right now I don't have that many to choose from. I'm doing my research on all those schools and trying to get more chemistry with all those coaches."
Solomon, a 6-foot-1, 202-pound four-star recruit is rated as the fifth-best dual-threat quarterback and No. 132 in the 2013 class by Rivals.com after having monster seasons at Bishop Gorman.
As a junior, Solomon threw for 3,059 yards with 43 touchdowns and three interceptions. He had 2,412 passing yards with 41 scores and five picks as a sophomore. Solomon has put up big-time stats and now he's closing in on a decision.
After taking some visits, talking to coaches and seeing which opportunities might be best for him, Solomon said he could be ready to decide soon.
"As of right now, I'm thinking I could decide before the summer," Solomon said. "It might be pretty soon.
"Every school is equal right now. I like everyone the same. I'm doing my research and seeing which one of those schools is right for me."
