SoFla Scrimmages: Top offense

Recruiting wrap: Florida and Florida State are in the mix for Ridley but
Alabama
looks like the favorite.
Performance: Ridley is a load for any defensive back to handle. He broke press
coverage well and was a reliable receiver. Ridley ran through a number of
tackles once he got the ball in his hands. He isn't the fastest receiver but his
good route running helped him create separation.

WR
Kyle Anthony
Miramar (Fla.)
Recruiting wrap: Anthony has yet to receive his first offer, but look for that
to change for the big receiver.
Performance: Anthony was hard to miss. The 6-foot-4, 185-pound receiver was the
go-to threat and he called for the ball. He is a physical prospect but he was
able to stretch the field. Anthony had a couple of touchdown receptions and made
several good adjustments. He caught the ball with his hands and proved to be
very sure handed. In addition to catching the ball, Anthony was a willing and effective blocker.

WR
Kemore Gamble
Miami (Fla.) Southridge
Recruiting wrap: Gamble has taken a shine to Tennessee in recent days but names
no leaders in his recruitment. Florida will be a major player until the end.
Performance: Gamble dropped a would-be touchdown pass that hit him in the hands,
but that was really the only negative play he made on Saturday. He made a
one-handed touchdown grab in his team's first game and showcased some impressive
strength and thickness all afternoon. Gamble has an shockingly quick burst for a
player of his stature.

RB
Alton Allen (2017)
Deerfield Beach (Fla.)
Recruiting wrap: Allen is still waiting on his first offer.
Performance: Allen is on the smaller side for a running back but packs a punch.
He took a few option handoffs, broke a few tackles and picked up nice chunks of
yards. Allen was good at making people miss in the open field and fought through
tackles to pick up extra yards.
6
WR
Jerry Jeudy (2017)
Deerfield Beach (Fla.)
Recruiting wrap: Jeudy has a pretty impressive offer sheet but
Alabama and Miami
seem to be standing out.
Performance: Jeudy is an impressive physical specimen that can play multiple
positions. As a wide receiver Jeudy had an up and down day but proved to be most
effective on short screen plays that he could turn into big gains. He took a
couple of those in for long touchdowns after making a few defenders miss. Juedy
also showed some toughness, bouncing back up after taking some big hits over the
middle. On defense, Jeudy grabbed a leaping interception on a downfield route.
7
RB
Cliff Smith Jr.
Miami (Fla.) Southridge
Recruiting wrap: Smith is still waiting for his first scholarship offer.
Performance: At 5-foot-8, 155, Smith isn't exactly a bruising back, but he runs
with conviction and hits holes without hesitation. On Saturday, Smith showed some
solid shiftiness but was most effective because his vision allowed him to
quickly hit holes for quick chunks of yards. Smith has plenty of quickness to
succeed beyond high school, but will need to add size.
8
WR
Lavaris Tigner (2017)
Deerfield Beach (Fla.)
Recruiting wrap: Miami, Temple and FIU have offered Tigner.
Performance: Tigner was a good outlet for his quarterback all day. He made
catches near the sideline and over the middle showing good quickness and pretty
reliable hands. Tigner played the role of the spark plug for his offense and
provided some excited running routes over the middle.
