Soesman ready for weekend trip

Arizona State has emerged as one of the frontrunners for Adam Soesman but the Clovis (Calif.) Buchanan safety is taking another Pac-12 trip this weekend that could influence him.
UCLA has gotten more involved with the 6-foot-2, 190-pound three-star prospect who has looked good at various events this spring and he's going to the Bruins' spring game this weekend.

"I've been talking to (assistant coach Jeff) Ulbrich the most," Soesman said. "I'm really excited to get up there and meet them and see how that's going. I'm also talking to Stanford a little bit so I'll probably get down there over the summer."
The Cardinal have also stepped up its interest with Soesman, who currently has offers from Arizona State, Fresno State, Houston, Oregon State, San Jose State and Washington State.
A trip to Stanford this summer is definitely possible especially because Soesman wants to work out at summer camp to possibly earn another offer.
"I just started talking to them last week," Soesman said. "I gave them a call. There are three dates for summer camps where they want to get me in so I'll try to make as many of those as I can."
Fresno State recently stopped by Clovis Buchanan and Soesman expects Arizona State to come in soon during the spring evaluation period.
That's especially important because after the Sun Devils recently offered the three-star prospect said they emerged as one of his favorites.
Getting to meet the coaches, see exactly how they envision him in the program and get a better sense of the football team will be important to him during the visit.
"I'm looking forward to getting to meet them," Soesman said. "I've been talking to them for a while so it will be nice to finally get to meet them.
"Right now I like the school a lot. It's definitely a possibility but we'll see how things come along with UCLA and then I'll see how the spring game goes and then see what happens."
