Soesman could have leader

Adam Soesman had an excellent trip to Cal this past weekend and things went so well that the Clovis (Calif.) Buchanan safety said if the Golden Bears offered they would top his list.
"I would definitely consider it," Soesman said.
"It would probably be my leading one. I really liked what I saw. I liked the coaches and the system. I liked everything there and I'd really be excited to get an offer from there."
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect who shined at the recent NLA 7on7 in Las Vegas said Cal is showing a fair amount of interest and that the coaches could stop by his school this spring.
That is positive news for Soesman, who already has offers from Oregon State, Houston and San Jose State.
"They're interested in me," Soesman said. "They want to come up in the spring to my school and watch us as we get ready for next season. They just want to keep in contact with me."
The Cal trip definitely went well.
The Clovis Buchanan standout said he had a great campus tour, liked watching the spring game and the new Golden Bears' coaching staff especially stood out.
Soesman had the chance to spend some time with defensive backs coach Randy Stewart and he's definitely impressed with everything that's going on in Berkeley.
"I got there about 1 o'clock just in time to start the campus tour," Soesman said.
"First, they had a little questionnaire for the parents and then we took off, got to see some of the buildings, they took us through the library and then they took us back to the stadium for the spring game.
"I actually really liked it. I got to meet the secondary coach and I got to talk with them so I really liked it."
