SoCal WR up to six offers

Wide receiver Jemari Roberts (6-2.5, 205, 4.58) from Long Beach (Calif.) Wilson Prep is one of the fastest rising prospects on the west coast. He currently holds six offers and it is a sure bet that he will have at least a few more before the spring evaluation period was over.
Roberts has offers on the tables Cal, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, Washington State, and Colorado.

"UCLA is also recruiting Jemari," Wilson coach Mario Morales said. "I have talked to wide receiver coach Reggie Moore over the last few days. USC and Notre Dame are also interested.
Roberts has already been to Stanford's junior day and he scheduled to attend Oregon's junior day as well.
On the camp trail he is lined up to attend the NIKE Camp later this month in Los Angeles. He has a very busy itinerary since he also participates in track. He won all three events he entered, the 100, 200 and 400 just last week.
Not only is Roberts a special football player, but a special person as well. He carries an outstanding 3.97 GPA.
Morales was obviously very proud on his talented player, not only for his exploits on the gridiron, but for how he carries himself off the field.
"Jemari is very humble, which is very rare in a teenager these days," Morales said. "He's very respectful to everyone; adults, his peers, and teachers, everyone.
"Jemari is very coachable in a big way," Morales said. "He brings that explosive threat every time he touches the ball.
"Every time he touches the ball, he gives us the chance to score or have a big play," Morales said. "His size and speed is something you don't see every day.
"Every time he touches the ball, he gets us excited."
