"They felt really comfortable with Idaho coaching staff and the area," Logan said. "Idaho wants to throw a lot and that's good news for him.
Idaho is getting a player in Posey who set the new school record for catches in a single season with 72. He also had 863 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
BYU, Air Force and Montana State also showed interest in the late bloomer from Centennial.
In an earlier interview with Logan he had the following to say about Posey.
"I knew he was going to be good," Centennial coach Matt Logan said. "But I didn't expect him to be a record breaker.
"Marcel is so dang quick that he's hard to press," Logan said. "He's also very elusive in the open field.
"Marcel runs great routes and has great hands," Logan said. "He has very good ball skills, is athletic and will only get better.
"In Marcel you are getting the complete package as a student-athlete," Logan said. "He has great character and he's very coachable.
