SoCal WR has two offers with more on the way

Wide receiver Damien White (6-0, 175, 4.4) from Culver City, Calif., looks to be the next D-I receiver from a school that has sent their best to the collegiate ranks lately.
White was an all-league selection as a junior after he accounted for 35 receptions for 642 yards and seven touchdowns while averaging 18.34 yards per catch.

A speedster, White ran a 10.8, 100-meter as a sophomore for the track team. He didn't participate in track full time as a junior due to a hamstring. He is now back at full speed and ready for his senior season.
White has had a very impressive off-season showcasing his skills at various passing league competitions this past summer.
The talented wide receiver currently has offers on the table from Fresno State and just yesterday received an offer from Iowa State. He has been offered an official visit to Oregon State but a date hasn't been set.
Other schools showing White interest is Cal and Washington State.
There are reasons why White could see his stock soar if he continues to improve his game this fall.
"Damien never misses a practice or a workout," Culver City recruiting coordinator Greg Goodyear said. "He is also becoming a real strong leader. He has improved his leadership skills dramatically.
"Our offensive coordinator, Dameon Porter, is an active Arena League player and played his high school football at Culver City and he does a fabulous job of getting our wide receivers ready for D-I football," Goodyear said. "Damien has benefited by Porter's presence. Damien's skills are right up there with any D-I wide receiver prospect.
"Damien will go up in the air and make the catch," Goodyear said. "He is now using his athleticism and body control to make adjustments to make the grab. Early in his career here he didn't do that.
"Another thing about Damien that D-I schools will like about him is he likes to block and is willing to block."
