SoCal three-star pulls trigger

Three-star tight end Marlion Barnett (6-3, 218, 4.69) from Corona (Calif.) Santiago went on an official visit to Washington and is still up in Seattle. Rivals.com caught up with him to see how visit went.
"I committed to Mr. Woodrow, Washington's athletic director last night," Barnett said. "It was a decision that I made very quick. I'm still open to all my options."

"I have set up visits to Fresno State during the second week of December and I will San Diego State the first weekend of December," Barnett said. "If we make it the championship game, I will have to reschedule my San Diego State visit."
"Washington didn't really tell me much about the coaching situation, but I just got out of a meeting with Coach Tyrone Willingham about an hour ago," Barnett said. "He gave me wisdom that will help me for a lifetime. That's one of the reasons why I am very open to the coaching change at Washington, but it also why I am still open to other schools."
In ten games as a senior, Barnett has approximately 22 receptions for roughly 275 yards on a run oriented team.
While playing spot duty on defense, Barnett accounted for 15 tackles and three sacks.
Barnett earned a spot on the Rivals.com California Preseason Top 100 team for the class of 2009 landing as the Golden State's No. 78 prospect at any position.
