SoCal three-star OL makes decision

Three-star offensive lineman Jordan Johnson (6-5, 316, 5.3) from Corona (Calif.) Santiago has decided on what he wants to attend even though he has seen a bump in his stock go upward.
"I have not received any new offers," Johnson said. "I'm being recruited by Washington State, Fresno State, Nevada and a few others. The schools want to offer, but I'm not sure why they won't."

"I am committed to the University of Idaho," Johnson said. "Idaho is graduating a bunch of lineman this year and they also have a lot of junior lineman. I'm going to redshirt, so I should start as a sophomore if I take care of business."
"I want to major in business and economics," Johnson said. "Their business program is really good."
"Idaho was my only offer when I committed, but that's not the reason I committed," Johnson said. "I really wanted to get out of the state and go to a college with a good business program.
"I like the cold weather and I don't really like the city very much," Johnsons said. "I have not taken my official visit to Idaho yet, but I am scheduled to go this Friday."
"I'm going to redshirt my freshman year, and hopefully be starting by my sophomore year," Johnson said." That's one of my goals. I'll hopefully be starting my sophomore, junior, and senior years and then go pro."
"I'm being recruited as a tackle right now, but if it doesn't work out I'll move down to guard."
As a junior, Johnson earned first-team all-league from his offensive tackle position.
