SoCal TE set for first visit

It's a nice year for tight ends out West and another player we like a lot is Brea Olinda (Calif.) standout Tommy Gallarda. Gallarda had another big game last night (Thursday) and will take his first official visit this weekend.
Gallarda, 6-5, 205 pounds had a huge game on Thursday catching 11 balls for 180 yards and two touchdowns. He also had an interception return for a score as the Wildcats rallied from a 20-0 deficit to win 35-0. On the year, Gallarda has 42 catches for 717 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The athlete plays receiver in high school but will likely play tight end in college. He's also getting some looks on the defensive side of the ball but we feel he projects best at the tight end position.
"I'm going to Boise State this weekend for an official visit," Gallarda said. "I'm also setting trips with Cal and Washington State and hearing from Colorado, UCLA and Tulsa. Boise State and Tulsa have both offered me so far and I don't have a leader right now. I just want to take my trips and then make my decision later in the year."
