SoCal TE pulls trigger

Tight end Lance Bordeleau (6-4, 225, 4.9) from Simi Valley (Calif.) Royal has saw his stock heat up in December and it never slowed down. Bordeleau has made up his mind on where he will play his college football.
"I committed to Utah," Bordeleau said. "I just felt right when I took my visit."

"Utah has a good program going and the coaches are cool," Bordeleau said. "I also got along with the players. They were really down to earth."
"In the end I just felt comfortable there."
Bordeleau is the complete tight end who catches as well as he blocks. He led his team in receptions as a senior. He has an excellent frame to add more weight. He was even tipping the scale at 250 pounds before he came down with mononucleosis.
Utah gets a player who has tremendous upside and he will be counted on to help bring back the tight end position to the Utes.
Other schools that showed interest in Bordeleau were Colorado, Washington, Fresno State (offer) and Cal State Sacramento (offer).
