SoCal safety lands two offers

Carson safety Antonio Crews (6-0, 190, 4.6) from Carson, Calif., entered into the season with a wait and see attitude from D-I schools. He has lived up to his promise that he displayed his sophomore season and after missing most of his junior season, he's back having a very strong senior season.
Crews has racked up approximately 70 tackles and four picks in seven games. His senior season performance has seen him land two Pac 10 offers.

"Antonio has offers from Arizona and Oregon," Carson defensive coordinator Ralph Caldwell said. "The rest of the Pac 10 are looking at him."
"I think that Antonio, is the best safety in the City Section," Caldwell said. "He's very aggressive and he's a ball hawk."
"Antonio is well put together young man," Caldwell said. "He stands 6-foot-2, weighs 190 and he's a weight lifter."
"Antonio is like a man among boys when he is out on that field," Caldwell said. "He stands out."
"Antonio is a hard worker and is very dedicated," Caldwell said. "He has never missed a practice and he never missed a weight lifting session.
"Antonio has had some ups and downs, but he has really bounced back," Caldwell said. I'm very proud of the growth that he has done, on and off the field."
