SoCal RB lands first offer

Running back Anthony Brown (5-11, 180, 4.4) from Fontana (Calif.) Kaiser has parlayed his great offseason into his first offer of what is likely more to come.
"I received my first offer today (May 12th) from UTEP," Brown said. "It felt very good."

"I've worked very hard this offseason so I felt I already had offers," Brown said. "I'm pretty excited about my first offer though, and now I'm looking forward to getting more. I don't know a lot about UTEP, but their recruiting coach told me that they have good academics and that is what I am looking for."
Cal, Oregon, UCLA, USC, Washington, Nebraska and UTEP have been by the school showing interest in Brown. He has received a phone call from Washington.
"The Washington coach told me I'm under evaluation by them," Brown said. "They told me that I am a high prospect for them."
Brown has been very busy and rising eyebrows at every camp he has participated in this spring. He has earned overall Camp MVP at FBU and MVP awards at other camps as well. He will be attending the NIKE Camp being held in Palo Alto this Sunday.
Brown was at the Inland Empire Combine last Saturday and showcased his skills as both a running back and cornerback.
As a junior, Brown earned first-team all-league after rushing for 1,010 yards and 11 touchdowns while having to share touches with a senior. Look for those numbers to increase as Brown will be the featured back for Kaiser this fall.
