Three-star quarterback Darius Banks (6-2, 186, 4.5) from Culver City, Calif., wasn't too pleased on how his season ended, in double overtime 32-26 to Santa Fe Springs (Calif.) St. Paul in the CIF quarterfinal game, but even that disappointing loss, can't damper the fantastic season the talented dual quarterback achieved in 2007.
For his senior season, Banks threw for 2,789 and 26 touchdowns. He added 485 yards rushing the football and scored 13 touchdowns on the ground. His total offensive production was 3,274 total yards and 39 touchdowns.

"I still have five offers from Kansas State, Oregon, Toledo, UNLV, and San Jose State," Banks said. "I'm waiting for an offer from Fresno State.
"I'm going to Kansas State on January 18th, then to San Jose State on January 25th," Banks said. "I want to visit Oregon and Fresno State also, but a date is still to be determined.
What will play a factor in his decision?
"Not location, but the offense they run," Banks said. "The coaches and how they run the program will also be important. Possible early playing time will also be a consideration.
Does Banks have any favorite schools at this time?
"Yeah, it's Kansas State, Fresno State and Oregon."
Are there any players that Banks would like to compare himself to ?
"I wouldn't like to compare myself to anybody cause that's not my style," Banks said. "But some people say that I play like former Heisman trophy winner and current Baltimore Raven Troy Smith and current Oregon quarterback Dennis Dixon."
Banks made the Rivals.com California Top 100 for the class of 2008. He landed as the Golden State's No. 65 prospect at any position.
