SoCal QB one to watch

With all the talented signal-callers in the Golden State this season it could be easy to be missed on the radar screen. There is one player who is exceedingly good and he’s getting long looks from some of the west’s best colleges.
Who is this masked man that is getting sound attention? Brian White from Mission Viejo (Calif.) Trabuco Hills is the name and throwing the football is his game.

White stands 6-foot-5 ½, weighs 220 and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8. He was selected all-county and was a Gridiron Great all-star after throwing for 1,500 yards and 15 touchdowns.
White has some getty-up in his feet as he rushed for three touchdowns and all three touchdowns were from around 20 yards. No lining up and crashing in on a quarterback sneak here.
The scouting report on White is he has good arm strength and possesses quick feet for a guy of his size.
White is getting solid recruiting action from Washington, Colorado, Oregon, ASU, Arizona, UCLA and Fresno State.
White let Pac10Recruiting know that he has no favorites yet and he’s keeping an open mind regarding colleges. He doesn’t have any offers yet but the word, there are couple offers pending and once the first one falls then more should rapidly follow.
What does White want in a school?
“I want to go to a school with a good winning tradition that has good relations between the coaches and the players,” White said. “A good college football atmosphere to play in is also key.”
White is a hard worker who camped at Colorado, Ohio State and Washington. “I liked all three camps a lot,” White said. “I learned a lot and had a good time with the players and coaches.”
White sports a solid 300-pound bench and recorded a 32-inch vertical jump at the UDub camp.
This one will be definitely one to watch…
