SoCal QB making a name

There is a quarterback from the San Diego area by the name of Ryan Lindley (6-3, 205, 4.9) from Lakeside (Calif.) El Capitan who is beginning to make a name for himself. On tape, Lindley looks like he has the goods to be a very good quarterback.
Lindley earned all-league and all-academic San Diego honors as a junior. His 4.2 GPA speaks for itself. Another thing that does some loud talking is Lindley's 2,220 yards passing and 14 touchdowns in 2005.

Boston College, Vanderbilt and UTEP are recruiting Lindley hard. Other schools showing interest in him are San Diego State, Arkansas, Nebraska and Wisconsin.
Lindley recently attended the Rivals.com junior day and before that he took in San Diego State's junior day as well. He is planning on going to the NIKE Camp to be held in Los Angeles this coming Saturday and will also attend USC's one day camp in June. Those are the only camps that he has scheduled so far.
The scouting report on Lindley is he has a strong and accurate arm. He stands tall in the pocket and is very poised. Though not a speed burner, he has good feet and is able to avoid the rush and get downfield.
"I am looking for a college with a good location, meaning a school with good surroundings," Lindley said. "Academics are also important to me so I want to attend a school with prestigious academics."
"I'm also interested in the kind of offense the program runs," Lindley said. "I would look to play in a well balanced offense that is not afraid to throw the ball."
