SoCal QB being recruited for two spots

Three-star quarterback/athlete Josh Moten (6-1, 185, 4.6) from Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne is being recruited for his skills on both sides of the ball. He has one offer to his credit.
"I'm being recruited at quarterback and defensive back," Moten said. "I prefer to play quarterback, I like that position the best."

"I'm being recruited by Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Oregon State, and Purdue," Moten said. "Also San Jose State, they're my only current offer. I haven't received any new offers lately."
"I want to visit Purdue, Arizona State, Washington, and Oregon State," Moten said. "My favorite school, I'd say, is the University of Arizona.
"I'd like to make a commitment early next year in 2009," Moten said. "I'm looking for a school that has the major I want to go into. I want to major in sports medicine.
"Football wise I'm looking for playing time. I want to see the field."
"I've enjoyed the recruiting process so far," Moten said. "I'm just hoping for more offers to come."
Moten was outstanding as a junior leading Narbonne to a 10-2 record and an appearance in the quarter-finals after throwing for 2,157 yards and 21 touchdowns against seven interceptions. He also did the job running the football rushing for 829 yards and 10 more touchdowns via the ground.
Moten's performance saw his earn his League's Offensive Player of the Year. He also earned first-team all-area and second-team all-city.
A solid student, Moten's current GPA is 2.87 and he has scored a qualifying 1135 SAT.
