SoCal program has another elite DB

Corona (Calif.) Santiago had one of the state's best secondary's last season led by UCLA bound Anthony Dye. This year's top defensive back will be talented corner Sean Martin, who recently picked up his first scholarship offer.
Martin, 6-1, 180 pounds has good size for a corner and runs well. He had a big season a year ago with 116 tackles and three interceptions and earned all-league honors. Martin saw some action at receiver as well but definitely projects in the secondary as a corner or safety.

On the recruiting front, Martin is hearing from most of the Pac 10 as well as several schools from outside the region.
"Minnesota is my first offer," Martin said. "I'm also hearing from UCLA, Cal, Oregon, Arizona State, Washington, Tennessee, USC, Wake Forest, Connecticut and Florida. It was cool getting my first offer and I think there are a few other schools that could be offering as well.
"Right now, my top five would be UCLA, Oregon, USC, ASU and Ohio State. I'm looking for a school with strong academics, a good coaching staff and a nice campus where I'll be comfortable with the location. Regarding my camp plans, I know I'll be going to the NIKE Camp at USC in April but I'm not sure what other camps I'll be attending right now."
