SoCal OL hard work paying off

If your team is looking for an offensive trenchman who brings a lot of versatility to the table then your team may want to check out Steve Jacson (6-3, 283, 5.25) from Fontana (Calif.) Kaiser.
Jacson plays offensive guard for Kaiser but has the potential to be a big time center on the collegiate level.

A hard worker in the weight room, Jacson has tremendous lower body strength as his 580 pound squat demonstrates. He also has a solid bench of 330 pounds and a power clean of 280. Jacson recorded a 22 ½-inch vertical jump at the USC camp in late April.
Scouts love his foot and hand speed. That is the reason that many D-I recruiters feel that Jacson is an ideal center prospect.
Another thing that scouts like about Jacson is his lower body strength. Pac10Recruiting has heard from many weight training coaches that “bench press is for the beach, lower body strength is for offensive lineman."
Jacson is taking his football very seriously. He use to participate in track, throwing the shot, but now he's devoting his time entirely to football working on his strength, speed and strength.
Jacson’s hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed. He is getting solid recruiting action from NC State, Fresno State, UNLV, New Mexico State, Nevada, Utah State, Colorado, Northwestern, Northern Arizona, Nebraska, Oregon, Washington and Tulane.
Jacson’s early short list of eight schools is NC State, Fresno State, UNLV, Utah State, Colorado, Oregon, Northwestern and Tulane.
Jacson has good bloodlines his father played D-I football for Utah State and was a starter during the Bruce Snyder era.
Look for Jacson’s stock to rise with a strong senior season. One to watch this fall…
