SoCal LB off to a good start in 2006

Three-star linebacker Andre Ferguson (6-3, 205, 4.59) from Redlands (Calif.) East Valley is off to a fine senior season. In two games this season, he has already racked up 20 tackles and one sack.
"Andre is big, tall and can really run," East Valley coach Kurt Bruich said. "What has really stood out the most this year is when teams are near the goal line and are trying to score it is Andre who steps up and makes the touchdown saving hit."

"Andre has offers from the likes of Arizona State, UTEP, Colorado State, Utah and a lot more," Bruich said. "I can't remember them all."
"I think Andre is a heavy lean to Arizona State right now," Bruich said. "He really wants to play in the Pac 10, but before he makes up his mind, he wants to take some visits."
According to Bruich, Ferguson will take a visit to ASU on September 29th when the Sun Devils take on the Oregon Ducks.
Ferguson earned all-league honors after he racked up 98 tackles, eight sacks, five deflected passes, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
Ferguson is a member of the Rivals.com California top 100 team for the class of 2007 landing as the Golden State's No. 83 prospect at any position.
