SoCal LB lands two more offers

Things have been very busy for three-star linebacker Ofa Fifita (6-0, 210, 4.7) from San Bernardino (Calif.) Arroyo Valley this week. He picked up two more offers recently upping his total of scholie opportunities to three.
Nevada and Colorado State joined UNLV as schools that have offers on the table for Fifita and there could be more offers on the way.

"I was excited with my Nevada offer," Fifita said. "Their head coach (Chris Ault) is from San Bernardino."
"Nevada has been to four straight bowl games so I'm really excited about that," Fifita said. "The Nevada program is definitely on the rise."
"The Colorado State offer caught me by surprise," Fifita said. "I was coming out of the weight room and my coach let me know that Colorado State was on campus and that they offered."
"I don't know a lot about Colorado State, but the school is in Fort Collins and I have been told that it is a football town," Fifita said. "That's a great thing to have when you are looking at a football program."
"Washington State emailed me and the email said that there is an offer in the way," Fifita said. "Fresno State assistant coach Derek Frazier took my tape and burned his one call to me after seeing it.
"Coach Frazier told me how good their program and their ACR ranking is high," Fifita said. "He told me they have a great business program."
Fifita is working very hard this spring. His current bench is 305 pounds, he squats 365 and recorded a 32-inch vertical jump.
Fifita was an all-league selection after accounting for 137 tackles, five sacks, two fumble recoveries and two forced offers.
