SoCal LB has options

Long Beach (Calif.) Poly linebacker George Daily-Lyles (5-11, 220, 4.7) has seen his stock take an upward turn due to an outstanding senior season. Daily-Lyles has been one of the catalysts Poly's perfect 7-0 start.
In seven games, Daily-Lyles has accounted for 63 tackles, nine tackles for loss and three sacks.

On the recruiting front, Daily-Lyles has committed to Hawai'i, but is still weighing his options. According to Daily-Lyles, he offers on the table from Portland State, Arizona and Colorado State in addition to Hawai'i. UCLA and New Mexico have called.
"I'm committed to Hawai'i, but I'm looking at other schools," Daily-Lyles said. "I'm looking for a school that would in my best interest and that could be Hawai'i."
What is Daily-Lyles looking for in a college?
"Education will come first," Daily-Lyles said. "Then a good football program. I will set my visits up after my season and the state playoffs."
The scouting report on Daily-Lyles is he has high football IQ and can be counted to make the smart play. He has good leadership skills, has an affable personality and is liked by his teammates.
Daily-Lyles plays with intensity and he's a powerful hitter. He never takes a down off and plays sideline to sideline.
In the weight room, his current bench is 315, squats 450 and power cleans 265.
