Claremont (Calif.) does a great job of getting their players out to Div I programs every year and this year is no exception. Already defensive end Cameron Morrah has committed to Big 12 power Kansas State and standout linebacker Nathan Thomas is holding a handful of scholarship offers.

Thomas, 6-1, 220 pound had a big junior season totaling 118 tackles and earning all-league and all-valley honors. He doesn’t have great speed but runs well enough and is more quick than fast. He has good football instincts, has a nice feel for the game and is a punishing hitter.
Thomas is a lifelong Oklahoma fan and was receiving a few letters early in the recruiting process but has not been called by the Sooners.
“That would be nice but they’re not really after me and that’s all right,” Thomas said. “Wyoming was my first offer and I also have offers from Nevada, Boise State and Oregon State. I haven’t set any trip dates yet but I’m going to set a visit to Boise State pretty soon. I’ll probably try and set visits to all the schools that have offered me. My plan is to take all my visits but I know that’s hard to do and a lot of people get burned out after a few of them but hopefully I’ll be able to take at least three before I commit somewhere.”
