SoCal LB about to blow up

Look for three-star middle linebacker Brandon Brown (6-2, 245, 4.65) from Corona (Calif.) Centennial see his stock soar if he continues to play the way he did in his opening game last week.
"Brandon played tremendously in our opener last Friday," Centennial coach Matt Logan said. "He had 13 tackles, one quarterback hurry and an interception."

Not a bad day at the office for the Centennial linebacker.
When you play linebacker for Centennial there is a lot to live up to as the Huskies have sent quite a few of their linebackers to the D-I level and it appears that Brown will be following suit.
"Brandon is so fast, physical, and with the way he moves, he has that great combination of attributes that all the great linebackers have," Logan said. "He already has D-I size and quickness."
"Brandon is a true middle linebacker," Logan said. "He is an outstanding hitter. He will come up and hit you into next week. Like I said, he's very physical.
"The thing about Brandon is, he's still learning to play the game," Logan said. "His potential is huge."
On the recruiting trail, Brown has three offers from SMU, Idaho and Iowa State. These three schools aren't the only ones who are looking at him.
"There are a lot of schools looking at Brandon, but he has some work to do academically," Logan said. "I think he will make it though."
Washington and Minnesota have been showing him a lot of recent attention.
