SoCal four-star is getting ready to set trips

Four-star defensive back/wide receiver Todd Doxey (6-2, 175, 4.5) from San Diego (Calif.) Hoover is living up to the claim that he is one of the San Diego area's best football players.
The two-way standout is getting the job done on both sides of the ball and is the main reason that Hoover is off to a great start with a perfect 3-0 record.

On the offensive side of the ball, Doxey has caught 20 passes for 368 and has scored five touchdowns.
We only have defensive stats for Doxey's first two games and he is just as impressive on the defensive side of the ball racking up 20 tackles and two interceptions, one that he has brought back for a touchdown.
Doxey has offers on the table from Oregon, Oregon State, Colorado State, San Diego State and Boise State.
Since September 1st, the day colleges are allowed to make phone contact, Doxey has received calls from Washington State, Oregon, Oregon State, Arizona, UCLA, Cal, UNLV, San Diego State and a lot more.
"Oregon is my top school right now," Doxey said. "UNLV and Washington State are close too and they could be offering soon.
"I will visit UNLV and Oregon for official visits," Doxey said. "I'm also thinking of visiting Arizona and Oregon State."
"I'm really keeping my options open," Doxey said. "I'm sure I will be getting more offers after the season.
"I'm thinking about waiting until after the season before I make my decision on what other schools to visit."
It is still unclear what position Doxey will play on the D-I level. Some schools are recruiting him as an athlete while others are recruiting him as a free safety.
Rivals.com rate Doxey as the nation's No. 17 safety for the class of 2007. He is also a member of the Rivals.com California top 100 landing as the Golden State's No. 28 prospect at any position.
