On the recruiting front, Hanley is getting looks from Iowa, Kentucky, Northern Arizona, Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA and Washington.
According to Hanley, Northern Arizona and Kentucky are watching him closely and could offer.
"Northern Arizona coaches told me that most likely they are going to offer me later on in the recruiting process," Hanley said.
The scouting report from Schuman's Underclass Combine was Hanley had excellent use of his hands and very quick feet. Two important ingredients for being a successful defensive tackle.
What is Hanley looking for in a college?
"The education that I receive will be important," Hanley said. "I would like to get away from home for school, but before I make any decision, I will go over everything with my Mom."
In nine games as a junior, Hanley racked up 52 tackles, a team leading seven sacks, and one pass deflection. His performance earned him all-league honors.
In the weight room Hanley shows good strength. His current bench is 285, squats 485 and power cleans 270. He recorded a 24-inch vertical at the Underclass Combine.
