Three-star defensive tackle, Cassius Marsh (6-5, 275, 4.9) from Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian is narrowing things down and is pretty sure that he has four schools that he will visit and he is looking at fifth, but the fifth one is not in stone.
"I'll probably be visiting Oklahoma, LSU, Cal and USC," Marsh said. "I don't have any visit dates yet, but I'm trying to do that now. I have to figure that out with my head coach and when is the best time I can leave then I'll figure it out from there.
Usually Oaks Christian players end up making their college announcement before their senior season it appears that Marsh will buck that trend.
"Well that all depends," Marsh said answering if he will be a later commitment than the usual Oaks Christian player. "I mean, if I go to a place and I completely fall in love with it and I know that's where I belong then I'll commit, but 'm pretty sure after my officials, I'll commit.
"My coach wants me to commit before my season, but I'm probably not going to," Marsh said. "It will probably be more around October or something like that.
"I'll probably try and take my visits all of them in the month of September and probably early October," Marsh said. "So late October I'll probably be able to make my decision.
Who is line for that last visit?
"Probably Tennessee, but I'm not really sure," Marsh said. "I might not even take a fifth visit, it all depends. I really need to sit down with my family and coach and figure it out. We will just have to see on that one.
What does Marsh like about the schools that he has chosen to visit?
"USC is a great football program , it is close to home and they send a lot of their players to the NFL," Marsh said. "Academically they have a great business program and they have an all-around great coaching staff.
"USC is always good and have a chance to win the national championship," Marsh said. "That's important to me.
"With LSU and Oklahoma, I just know they always have good football teams," Marsh said. "I know they are good schools academically, but I haven't really been able to check them out too much.
"I have family close to LSU, in Baton Rouge," Marsh said. "That's another reason that I'm kind of interested in LSU.
"I like basically everything about Cal," Marsh said. "The campus is awesome, I love the campus. I love the atmosphere and the Bay Area is a great place.
"Cal's coaching staff is great, they are really awesome," Marsh said. "Cal is up and coming when it comes to nationally contending. Their recruiting class this year is really looking nice and the season hasn't even started.
"The academics at Cal are amazing," Marsh said. "You get a degree from Cal and you are pretty much set.
"Right now Cal is lead because I haven't seen anything other than Cal or schools outside the state of California," Marsh said. "So when I see other schools, I'll probably know where I'm headed, but at this point Cal is in the lead."
Whoever lands Marsh will be getting a guy who earned CIF Defensive Player of the Year, Ventura County Defensive Lineman of the Year, League Defensive Player of the Year and League Defensive Lineman of the Year. Plus he earned first-team all-state for his junior season performance.
Marsh racked up 55 tackles, six sacks and one fumble recovery while fighting through double and triple teams all season long.
