SoCal DL sets visit No. 1

Quietly and without much fanfare, Anaheim (Calif.) Esperanza defensive lineman Eron Moses has become one of the marquee recruits in the state. The lineman is up to double digit scholarship offers and recently set up his first official visit.
Moses, 6-4, 240 pounds plays nose guard in a 3-4 scheme for the Aztecs but will move to defensive end in college.

"I can't wait," Moses said. "It's tough taking on all those double and sometimes triple teams. I played on the edge in two games this year and when I sent those two games out to the colleges, I got a lot of my offers because of it.
"Some of the schools even said they think I can play linebacker but I'm pretty sur I'll be playing defensive end and that's my best college position in my opinion."
The Aztecs are 7-1 and ranked No. 19 in the state right now. On the seaon, Moses has 43 tackles and three sacks and is looking forward to their huge rivalry game with the state's No. 17 ranked Los Alamitos Griffins Friday night.
"They're a great team and this is one of the best rivalry's in the state," Moses said. "We know they're going to be good and they're also going to be out for a little revenge because of how we beat them last year so I know it will be an exciting game."
On the recruiting front, Moses is really blowing up and it seems new offers are coming in almost weekly.
"I can't remember all of them but the ones I know that have offered are Boise State, Washington State, Colorado State, Wyoming, UNLV, Nevada, Utah State and Utah," Moses said. "I'm also hearing from Cal, UCLA and San Diego State and Cal said they want to trip me in sometime in December.
"The only visit I have set up right now is to Boise State for (Nov. 17). I also want to visit Washington State and Wyoming. After that, I'm just keeping things open and I'm curious to see who else decides to offer or start recruiting me. I do want to take all five of my trips though but the visit to Boise State is probably the only one I'll be able to take during the season."
