SoCal DL racking up the offers

There won't be many team's nationally next year with more talent than Mission Viejo (Calif.). Everyone knows about Hot 100 standouts Mark Sanchez at quarterback and offensive lineman Kevin Bemoll. The Diablos also have arguably the best pair of defensive ends in the nation led by Ohio State bound Ryan Williams and Nick Reed.
Reed, 6-2, 245 pounds is a very talented rush end and one of the hottest prospects in the West region. It seems a new offer floats in for him every day, so much so that Diablo head coach Bob Johnson can't keep up with them.

"It's over 10 right now I know that much," Coach Johnson said. "It's tough for me to imagine a better pair of ends than Nick and Ryan. Both kids work so hard and really complement each other well. Nick is probably the better player but Ryan had a few more offers because he's 6-5, 245 pounds and looks like a greek god. In terms of upside, he might have a little more but Nick is a great player and really gets after it."
For Reed, the attention has been a little surprising.
"Ryan and I went to the USC lineman camp and neither of us got offered," Reed said. "Coach Johnson said we would probably have to wait until our season before any offers came in and then that next week, Oregon offered me. The it was Oregon State, Cal, Wisconsin, Colorado, UCLA, BYU, Duke, Utah and Washington.
"My plan is to take a bunch of unofficial visits and then make my decision around August. Right now, my top five would be Oregon, Oregon State, Colorado, Wisconsin and Washington. I kind of want to leave the area and think it would be good to get away from home."
