SoCal DL nearing decision

It has been a very busy time for defensive lineman Logan Harrell (6-4, 272, 4.7) from Santa Margarita (Calif.) Rancho Santa Margarita and his family as they have been busy entertaining coaches at their home.
Last night new Washington State head coach Paul Wulff and area recruiter Travis Niekamp were in the Harrell home last night. Harrell is headed to the Pullman campus this weekend for an official visit.

Harrell is going to be part of a big recruiting weekend for the Cougars as the recruits are going to be able to take in a huge basketball contest when Wazzu hosts Oregon.
Fresno State head coach Pat Hill and running back coach Tim Skipper will be in the Harrell household this evening putting the full court press on in hopes of garnering Harrell's commitment.
Harrell is also beginning to hear from LSU. The Tigers are recruiting five-star running back Darrell Scott.
While watching game film when Scott and his Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure teammates played Catholic early in the year, Harrell kept making plays and stood out.
Harrell is waiting on LSU defensive line coach Earl Lane to finish his evaluation.
"We're going to make a decision pretty quick," Robert Harrell, Logan's dad said. "Logan will take that to Washington State this weekend and we could make a decision shortly after that.
It shouldn't be surprising that Harrell is garnering such D-I attention, he has outstanding bloodlines.
Harrell's dad, Robert Harrell, played for the Florida Gators, his older brother Kellar Harrell played at Colorado State and another brother is currently at Arizona playing water polo.
Harrell earned all-league and all-county honors after accounting for 67 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and one pass deflections.
