SoCal DL getting ready to set visits

Defensive lineman/offensive lineman Otis Jones (6-2, 268, 5.0) from Lawndale (Calif.) Leuzinger is off to a fine start for his senior season. On the recruiting trail he has taken one official and is in line to line up two others.
"Otis is living up to his potential and what we expected of him," Leuzinger line coach Ralph Oliver said. "His offseason circuit of going to different football camps helped out his individual techniques tremendously. He said that the camps that stood out most were UCLA and Oregon State.

In three games on the season, Jones has accounted for 22 tackles, four tackles for loss and two sacks.
Jones has taken one visit to Iowa State.
"Otis enjoyed his visit to Iowa State and a great time," Oliver said. "He liked the fact that Ames is a college town and that the athletes are treated like celebrities.
"Otis also liked Iowa State's coaching staff. They were straight forward and honest.
"Otis may take an unofficial visit to Arizona to take in a game," Oliver said. "He's also trying to set official visits to Arizona and Colorado.
"UCLA told him they would give him a trip later in the year," Oliver said. "He's going to visit one of the Washington schools a visit.
"Otis pretty much has his five visits set now with his last visit going to UCLA.
The thing to remember about Jones though he is being recruited as a defensive lineman, he played primarily offensive guard and earned all-league status for his performance.
Jones did play some defense as a junior as a defensive end. In part time duty, Jones accounted for 32 tackles, six sacks and had three forced fumbles.
