SoCal DB makes the call

La Mirada, Calif., safety Aaryn Bouzos (5-11, 185. 4.5) had seen his stock take a rise this spring when he landed three offers in quick succession. Bouzos has made his college choice.
"I committed to Nebraska," Bouzos said. "The more I thought about it, it was a no brainer for me. Coach Bo Pelini is a defensive minded coach and the Nebraska tradition is powerful.

"It just came down to tradition, and playing for a coaching staff that preaches toughness, and whose goals are to win National Championships," Bouzos said. "I'm excited, I'm so excited, I will give everything I got to the University of Nebraska, and the people that live in Nebraska and the rest of the Husker Nation all over the country.
"I know I need to get better, can always get better, bigger, faster, but I'm going to battle, and fight everyday to achieve my goals," Bouzos said. "One of those goals is to win a National Championship at the University of Nebraska."
The Huskers get a player in Bouzos who is a hitter. He has versatility too and could play corner in addition to safety. He is also a solid special teams player. He's a hard worker who will only get better.
The Huskers win the services of Bouzos over Wyoming and New Mexico State, two schools that also offered.
Bouzos was also getting recruiting attention from the likes of Arizona, Colorado, TCU and UCLA.
