SoCal DB looking forward to season

Cornerback Romeo Pellum (5-10, 160, 4.5) from Santa Fe Springs (Calif.) Santa Fe is a fast rising corner.
Pellum played for Gardena (Calif.) Serra for the first six games of his junior season and was leading the team in tackles with 32. He also had three fumbles caused and three fumble recoveries, one that he brought back to the house for a score.

Pellum moved in midseason and that was the end of his season.
Even though Pellum missed the last part of his 2005 season, he still received phone calls this past spring from the likes of Utah, Washington State, Oregon, and Cal.
Pellum currently favors UCLA, Cal, Oregon and Utah. He is being recruited by everyone in the Pac 10 except USC and Stanford.
From out of the Pac 10 Colorado, UNLV, San Diego State, BYU, Fresno State, San Jose State, Boise State and Idaho are also showing interest.
Colleges are waiting for Pellum's first two games and if he plays up to his potential he should start getting offers in September.
The scouting report on Pellum is he has outstanding leadership skills and is a dedicated and hard worker. He can run with you in pass coverage and he's an outstanding tackler in run support.
Pellum had a solid NIKE Camp in Palo Alto and he was rated No. 1 corner at the camp and among the top three defensive backs.
What is Pellum looking for in a school?
"I want to go to a clean campus with a good environment," Pellum said. "The school that I attend must be strong in my intended major, which is law or criminal justice.
"Athletically I'm looking for a school with a good steady football program."
