SoCal DB has bloodlines

The Forrester family has been very good to Los Angeles (Calif.) Venice and Venice high school has been very good to them. Venice sent two of the older Forrester brothers to the D-I level and now there is a third brother from the Forrester family poised to play college football in defensive back Naeem Forrester (6-0, 190, 4.55).
"Naeem plays safety for us, but he can play anywhere in the defensive backfield," Venice coach Angelo Gasca said. "He's a good cover guy and he's also excellent in run support.

From his safety spot, Forrester was a first-team all-league selection after racking up 85 tackles, nine deflected passes and five interceptions.
"Florida International said they were going to offer Naeem last spring," Gasca said. "That hasn't happened yet, but it could any day now. Cal and Washington are also very interested in him because his two older brothers played for them.
"Naeem's brother Mesphin Forrester is starting for Washington right now," Gasca said. "So Naeem will be the third from his family to play D-I football.
"Naeem is very physical and has outstanding ball skills," Gasca said. "He's really tough, covers a lot of ground as he plays center field for us and makes a lot of plays.
"Another thing I like about Naeem is he has outstanding work habits and is always in the weight room" Gasca said. "He's also a solid student and qualifying shouldn't be a problem.
"Naeem is a strong, physical kid who has all the qualities you are looking for in a defensive back," Gasca said. "Like I said, he will be the third in his family to play D-I football."
