SoCal DB closing in on offers

Gardena (Calif.) Serra has three prospects that are known to recruitneks coast-to-coast. They also have two other players getting legitimate D-I offers. One of them is safety Duke Ihenacho (6-0, 195, 4.5).
Ihenacho is just beginning to come into his own as a football player as his senior season is his only second playing organized football. He parlayed his first-year performance as a junior into earning all-CIF and all-league honors after racking up 55 tackles and had three picks.

Playing strong safety as a senior, he is averaging six tackles a game and has 48 tackles on the season. He has also accounted for 10 tackles for loss and his hard hitting ability has forced two fumbles. He also has two fumble recoveries and two sacks.
Things are picking up for Ihenacho on the recruiting trail.
"Villanova, Fresno State, UC-Davis and San Jose State are close to offering," Ihenacho said. "My brother plays for San Jose State so I'm definitely interested in them.
"I'm still very open at this time and is interested in any school that wants me."
Things could get very interesting for Ihenacho as Serra's season progresses. There could be a late run on his services.
Ihenacho is a full qualifier carrying a 3.5 GPA and a passing SAT.
