SoCal athlete training hard for senior season

Safety/wide receiver prospect Logan Ketchum (6-3, 195, 4.6) from Oak Park, Calif., is working hard this off-season to get ready for his senior season. Ketchum is already hearing from several schools and just this past weekend he attended UCLA's junior day.
Ketchum comes from excellent bloodlines. His brother Gavin Ketchum played as a true frosh for UCLA and made some clutch catches for the Bruins in 2005.

Ketchum was an all-league selection after racking up 65 tackles, six pass deflections, four interceptions and two forced fumbles as a junior. He is currently getting recruiting attention from UCLA, Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State, Colorado, Colorado State and San Diego State.
A hard worker, Ketchum has been working with Air7 since the seventh grade and is currently working on his overall speed with former USC wide receiver Travis Hannah.
Ketchum was one of close to 50 prospects who showed up at UCLA's junior day.
"UCLA's junior day was nice," Ketchum said. "It was nice to be able to talk to the new defensive back coach (DeWayne Walker) about how UCLA is going to play defense. The practice was also very good."
"I'm still very open to all schools that are recruiting me," Ketchum said. "UCLA is a good fit for my brother, but I'm my own person and I need to find out what school fits me best."
"I want to attend a school that has good team camaraderie and has a good coaching staff," Ketchum said. "I'm also looking for a school where I can get a good education."
The scouting report on Ketchum is a good tackler who can hit. He's also a very intelligent football with an excellent knowledge of the game.
Ketchum also plays the game aggressively and is physical. He's strong and an excellent nose for the football.
