SoCal ATH is Island Bound

Hawaii has a commitment from North Hollywood (Calif.) Campbell Hall athlete Matt Kirschner. Kirschner, 5-10, 170 pounds is a versatile player who can play on both sides of the ball but was recruited by the Warriors to play corner.
As a senior, Kirschner earned All-CIF honors at running back after rushing for 1,652 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also picked off five passes on defense and has the quickness and athletic ability to make a fine corner for UH. At the SoCal Nike Camp, Kirschner clocked a 4.78 in the 40 but had a 4.16 shuttle time and jumped 29 inches in the vertical.
Kirschner took an official visit to Hawaii last weekend and committed earlier in the week according to the Honolulu Advertiser. He was also looking at Nevada and the Ivy League.
