Belle Glade (Fla.) Glades Central strongside defensive end Ray McDonald committed to Florida in late October. Now that Steve Spurrier is gone, is he looking around at all?
"Actually, I've been answering that a lot," McDonald said. "I don think his resignation is going to have any effect on me.

"I was looking forward to playing for him, but I've always wanted to be a Gator."
McDonald said he plans to visit Gainesville on Jan. 18 and as long as the new staff wants him, he'll be signing with UF on Feb. 6.
"It's always been Florida," McDonald, who is 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, said.
