Snyder makes his decision

There are certain players every year that you can basically ear mark for a particular school no matter what goes on there and Clinton Snyder was one such player this season. Stanford was always the school of choice for Snyder so it was no surprise when the talented defensive end announced for the Cardinal a few days ago.
Snyder, 6-4, 200 pounds is one of the elite defensive players in the state and one of the top rush ends in the West region. He was recruited to play outside linebacker by Stanford, which is a great fit for what Snyder is able to do best on the field.

"Stanford has been my top school for a long time," Snyder said. "When Coach Teevens was let go, I had a few doubts but I like Coach Harris a lot and the fact that the most of the defensive staff is going to stay on made it an easy decision for me. I was going to take visits to UCLA and Cal too but I just don't have the time and want to get this out of the way. I know Stanford is the best place for me so there was no need to put it off any longer."
Snyder will visit Palo Alto (Jan. 7) and that will be the only trip he takes.
