Snow hauls in early offers

Many people expected 2008 offensive guard David Snow to receive early written offers come September of his junior year, but it's hard to believe that Snow or anyone expected this many, this quickly.
The 6-foot-4, 277-pound Gilmer, Texas junior says that written offers have come from Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, and Mississippi State. Those are at least the ones he can remember. More than likely plenty more will come and Snow definitely is enjoying all of this without any clear leaders.

"I'm very undecided right now because it's so early," Snow said. "It's pretty great to get those offers though."
Texas is one school that is showing lots of interest to Snow and in turn he has shown interest in them by visiting Austin for both the North Texas and Ohio State games. Regardless, he knows he'll have to wait for an offer to come from the Horns.
"I believe they don't offer until January or something around there," Snow said about UT. "I did get a chance to go to the first two games. That Ohio State game was unbelievable. There were so many people there and the coaches seemed really cool. They lost, but they handled it really well knowing that they'll just have to work hard the next week."
Snow says that he grew up watching Big 12 schools that "mainly" included "Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Nebraska."
"I don't have any favorites yet though," he said. "I've got some time to think that over."
While Snow says he does expect to decide before his senior year, he's also very focused on his teammates and their current season. So far, Snow and his Gilmer team are 2-0 after wins against Las Vegas Bishop Gorman and Tatum.
"The team is really coming together," Snow said. "We didn't really know anything about Bishop Gorman, but we worked out well all week in practice and did really well."
