Snelsons mind is made up

BRADENTON, Fla. -- Dredrick Snelson has some visits in mind. He plans to tour Virginia Tech and Florida State in the coming month, but his travel itinerary is, at least in a way, pointless. Snelson, you see, has already made up his mind.
"I already know where I'm going," he said on Saturday. I'm going to be visiting that school soon, but I already know."

Most assume Snelson is set on Virginia Tech, but you won't get the four-star receiver to comment on that line of thinking. Instead, he's keeping things as secretive as possible while he settles on his announcement date.
The south-Florida based prospect is not without a grand plan of sorts.
"I was going to do it at the opening, but I didn't get invited," Snelson said. "I was going to do it then and commit, but now I'm going to wait for my All-American Game."
Snelson is committed to play in January's Under Armour All-American Game and will commit on site in Orlando. Other than releasing that bit of information, though, things are hush. Snelson isn't tipping his hand but doesn't mind discussing the driving forces behind his decision.
"I feel like I can go in there and play early," Snelson said. "That's a big reason. That and it's a very family-ordinated place.
Snelson, who played his junior season at Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage High school is rated as the 25 wide receiver and No. 123 overall prospect in the class of 2016. He was committed to Miami for a time but parted ways with the Hurricanes in late 2014.
