Sneak Peek: OL likes Cuse, Stanford

It's early in the process for 2016 defensive tackle Bo Peek of Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep, but he has offers from Syracuse, Ole Miss, UCF and USF he's considering , with Stanford peaking his interest with the possibility of an offer.
Of the schools he's visited this summer, Peek seems most impressed with Syracuse and Stanford.
"I just got done with two visits - Stanford and Syracuse and I love them a lot," the 6-foot-2, 300-pound Peek said. "Syracuse, I wasn't too sure about because I didn't know much about the school but they offered me so I wanted to visit to know more. It started with the coaching staff, and they were just awesome. Coach Tim Lester is the one recruiting me, but coach (Tim Daoust) and coach (Chuck Bullough) - I love them. Had a really good time sitting and talking with them.
"Right now, I'm just taking it all in stride."
His visit to Stanford started as a camp invite and progressed.
"I went up there as a prospect," he said. "One of the coaches came down and talked to (Berkeley Prep teammate Jacob Mathis) and I at school and said it'd be great if we could come to a camp. I ended up going and I did really well at the camp and it kind of turned into an unofficial after. They took me on a tour of the school, I got to see the locker room and talk with the coaches, so it was really nice. I liked it a lot.
"They basically said they don't offer early, but that if I have a really good junior season like they expect then that's something that would be in my future for them. They said I put myself high up in the 2016 class with my performance at the camp. I obviously Stanford, it's a really prestigious school."
Peek said he'd like to cap his offseason with a few more visits, noting the positives in each.
"I definitely want to visit Ole Miss, UCF and USF because those are three schools that offered me, so I'm going to get there," he said. "I think we're going to fly up and see Vanderbilt and all the Carolina schools - North Carolina, Wake Forest, Duke, etc.
"Ole Miss was Jacob and I's first offer," he said. "They're in the SEC and so that kind of speaks for itself. UCF and USF are Florida schools, so I'm excited about those. North Carolina is a school I've always been in love with since I was little, and Duke and Wake are great universities with really good education to go along with the football program."
