SMU tags junior college defensive back
SMU has dipped into the junior college ranks to snag a commitment from Navarro (Texas) Community College safety Randall Goode. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound safety pledged to the Ponies earlier today.
“I committed to SMU because it’s close to home, and it’s a good program that’s about to turn things around,” he said. “I took my visit up there two weeks ago, and it just felt right. I was recruited by coach Gush. He’s an intense guy, but that’s a good thing.

“I can’t wait to get up there and play for them.”
Good has three years to play two seasons. He was also offered by New Mexico and Southwest Missouri State.
