SMU offers Klein athlete

Klein Collins quarterback Cameron Luke received an offer from SMU and is being looked at as an athlete by other Division I schools.
Luke (6-2, 190-pounds) has been leading Klein Collins’ option-offense the past two seasons and has them undefeated entering next week’s game against The Woodlands.

“Our offense is in Cameron’s hands and he is doing a great job,” Klein Collins coach Ronnie Feldman said. “While we don’t throw the ball that much, he has a terrific arm. He’s mobile, has tremendous football knowledge and is a terrific athlete. He wants to play quarterback in college, which I think he can, but he has great hands if college coaches move him.”
Against Magnolia last Thursday night, Luke led his team to a 54-17 win and scored two touchdowns.
Klein Collins junior running back Michael Goodson is also receiving attention from college coaches. Goodson rushed four times for 104 yards and two touchdowns, and had scoring returns for 57 yards, 86 yards and caught a 32-yard touchdown to boot.
“He is a stud and will have several offers after this season. Michael is that good,” Feldman said.
