Smith waiting for more offers

Junior cornerback Adam Smith of Charlotte (N.C.) Hough is viewing Duke as his favorite school right now.
"I like their academics and their fight to compete," said the 5-foot-11, 163-pound Smith. "They compete even though they are a small ACC school."

Smith also likes Boston College, Virginia, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest.
"I like how Boston College is showing interest in me," he said. "I like Virginia's academics. Vanderbilt is an SEC school and I feel like they will get some good recruits in the future. I think they will have to start fighting again to compete in the SEC. I like Wake Forest's academics and my dad went there, so it's one of my favorites. I like coach Clausen."
Maryland and North Carolina are two other schools that could come into consideration for Smith. His most recent offer was an unofficial offer from Charlotte during the summer.
"They told me they will attend one of my games and they want to see my transcript," Smith said. "They also told me I will probably get an offer from them. I took a tour there and went to a game. It's nice and I'm glad it's a small program. I like that it's close to home and I like how they are a new program. I liked the atmosphere there and I feel like a lot of the fans from Charlotte go to the games. I think they will be good in the future and I think they are going to compete."
Smith feels like Wake Forest and Boston College are recruiting him the hardest right now and that Boston College might offer soon since they have a copy of his transcript.
