Smith up to five offers

Although he dominated a few camps earlier in the spring, the recruiting process for cornerback Nate Smith of Warminster (Pa.) Archbishop Wood took a little time to take off. But now the talented corner is beginning to pile up the offers.
"I picked up two more offers from Temple and Michigan State," said Smith, which joined previous offers from South Carolina, West Virginia and Temple.

Smith also mentioned that Connecticut, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and Cincinnati have all increased their efforts recently, but he is not planning any camps or visits in the near future.
The increase of interest has Smith excited about the process.
"Coaches from everywhere came to the school," said Smith. "It was real busy. It feels great, because everyone doesn't have this chance and I do. I feel special."
While he has no visits planned at this time, he does know a few things he will look for in a program when it comes time to make a final decision.
"I'm looking for a family, good academics and a BCS team," said Smith.
Smith plans to make a final decision on National Signing Day.
