Smith still in early stages

Josh Smith continues to land offers left and right.
Things have happened so fast for the Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Oakland four-star linebacker that he's unsure of favorites or even when he'll make his commitment.

Since everything is moving in Smith's recruitment, he said last week at the Under Armour Junior Combine that he's going to sit back, see what happens in the next few months and then hopefully figure some things out.
"I don't have any clue right now," Smith said.
"I'm thinking about making my decision before or right after the season. I don't want to make it during my senior year."
So far, the 6-foot-3, 228-pound four-star linebacker who's rated No. 150 in the 2015 rankings by Rivals.com said Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Purdue, Missouri and Middle Tennessee have offered.
There is new interest coming in from Northwestern and Auburn but Smith said he's not sure if either of those programs will offer.
The Murfreesboro Oakland standout said Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Auburn are recruiting him the hardest at this point but he's unsure where his recruitment is headed this off-season. More offers could be coming soon.
When it comes time to make a decision, Smith said three factors will be most seriously considered.
"It's going to be a mixture of all those things," Smith said. "I'm going to consider location, the program and the coaching staff. I want to see how everything feels to me."
